Day 76 Thursday 25th April 2013, Location; Firth Park Campground, Wombat State Forest

This morning being Anzac Day and a public holiday we saw an influx of day trippers and motor bikes. :(

At one stage all you could hear was ert ert ert as a little kid was learning how to ride his bike.

Our serenity was broken :(

Well even with the serenity broken we managed to have a much needed shower and unpacked Rena's toys from the car. That should keep her happy for a little while.

Our good friend Chooky (Stephen) arrived after lunch and after helping him set up his fly, time for another cuppa and some catching up to be done.

We had a relaxing afternoon then we fired up the camp fire. Time to put on a nice camp over roast beef and vegies for tonights dinner. (Thanks Chooky for bringing the wood ahhhhh)

4pm and the drinks, cheese and crackers underway and we start to see the day trippers departing and the overnight campers trying to put up tents. A male couple took close on an hour to put up there tent. Was an interesting sight.

Anyway amazing, free camp, good company, great food, it went too fast, put Rena to bed with a DVD and sat there watching the campfire until it got too cold and we all headed off to bed.

My poor nose is going to be permanently frozen at this state. It is hard to sleep when you are in agony from your nose being so cold and you just cant warm it up.

Wow I now remember why I left Vic and went to Qld. Oh and I miss my warm bed and house tonight. If I had the money for a motel I would be there tonight.
