Awoke to trucks pulling in and out and got up to discover that it was cattle trucks and the noise was the cows being moved around.
Destination today Dubbo.
We took the short drive from Cassillas to Dubbo and headed to north of town to the Terramungamine Reserve (another free camp spot).
We arrived around lunch time and set up camp made lunch and looked up to the heavens, checked the BOM site and thought hmmm better get the annex roof up.
Its official call us J & P Drough Busters, No sooner had we got the annex roof up and the heavens opened up AGAIN!!! ARGH Rain.
In between the showers of rain Rena and I managed to explore the river bank a little. A very pretty camp area and the bonus with it being a free camping spot, one to note and return to in the future. Very popular spot, definately have to be here early as if you arrive at 4 it is slim pickings for a spot to set up for the night, lots of grey nomads.
Early night due to the rain, tomorrow off to a caravan park in Dubbo and meet up with our friends to go to the Western Plains Zoo over the weekend.
