Day 37 Saturday 16th March; Location Terramungamine Reserve (North Dubbo)

Today saw us awoken not by the sounds of birds but bloody grey nomads and their &*)# generators.

I suppose 7.30am isnt too bad, but when your body clock is still on Queensland time that means it is 6.30am so it is a bit early.

Bloody dueling generators just what you need early in the morning, I suppose that they had a good reason for running them until after 10pm at night and again from 7.30am in the morning, must have been something really important on their tv's to watch.

Anyway shopping list in hand, ready for supermarket, quick shop at Rivers to get new shoes, then off to chemist but not before visiting the farmers market in Dubbo, picked up some nice apples, pumpkins and some made Jam and Caramel Slice mmm mmm.

Since we have decided to do the side trip today we put off heading off to Coles until tomorrow and have headed for the geological centre of NSW, which is near Tottenham (well 42 km west).

We got to see some really nice scenery on the way, the signposting from Tottenham was non existant, luckily I had looked up the instructions on how to get there the night before on the net.

We all circumnavigated the centre of NSW, took the obligatory photos and then had lunch.

Back in the car and back to Narromine to camp for the night at Macs Reserve which is beside the Macquarie River.

We arrived at the river and did a bit of a look around and found a nice spot to camp, unfortunately the locals use it as a dumping ground, but even with that in consideration it was still a very nice spot to camp, just had to make sure you kept your shoes on (glass everywhere).

On dark we made a hasty retreat in to the camper and there was a lot of flying ants tonight, so some reading was done and a very relaxing night inside the camper.

Tomorrow back to Dubbo to do the restock and refuel and head down to Wellington to go visit the caves.
