Day 22 Friday 1st March; Location Terramungamine Reserve (North Dubbo)

Today we had the unenvious task of packing up a wet camper. Thankfully we didnt have to travel to far.

Fired up the internet on the phone tried to book the caravan park, dang wouldnt let me book it using the phone. Fired up the wifi stick and tablet and the site was now no longer available... ARGH. On to another van park and hey presto we are booked in. Next problem cant book in to the van park until 2 pm so need to kill some time.

Packed up and parked the cruiser and camper at the reserve and then went and did the Terramungamine Aboriginal Carving Sites umberella in hand. Amazing what they did in the old days. The carvings were right next to the river.

Back in the cruiser and off to Dubbo, and to the Old Dubbo Gaol. And you guessed it umbrellas in toe (still raining). What a very informative place to visit, lots of signs to tell you about the displays. Miss 4 year old made it interesting and we didnt get to spend as much time reading or looking as we would have liked. But was still very interesting, worth while and if you are a RACQ member you get a discount. Bonus.

If we come back to Dubbo again in a couple of years will come and visit the Goal again.

Finally off to the caravan park to set up camp. Not a bad little park and very quiet, good toilets and quaint little camp kitchen, and a small playground for Rena.

Our friends arrived around 4 pm and we agreed to meet up with them at the bowls club for dinner.
Good choice the Bowls club near the train station had an all you can eat smorgasboard for $21 for adults and $5 for Rena. Great Value. Must have been good food, as Rena had 3 plates of food definate record breaker there. The company was fantastic and the food brilliant.

Back to camp early morning to get to zoo.
