Today I was up early and off to the laundry, grrr doesnt open until 8am, grrrr
Oh well ring our friends to let them know we are going to be late, and will meet them at the zoo.
Time for breakfast while I wait for the laundry to be opened, then up and wash clothes, dress Miss Rena and get her ready for the day.
Another phone call as we are leaving and we decide as we have missed the first talk of the day (that we also missed yesterday) that we would go to the shops on the way and meet our friends there (the girls had money to burn :) )
Got Rena her own umberella James a new pair of shoes. I then quickly went to the butchers to check out the meat. Got some really nice rump for a bbq dinner and some salad, dinner sorted.
Girls were happy they got their bargains and we were off to the zoo, today we were driving and parking then walking in to were we had missed the talks.
Lunch time we went to the playground and let Rena have a good play then back into the zoo and finish the talks.
Love the Zoo, I think the was that there have the animals on display in brilliant and all the keepers show that they really care for and have passion for their animals.
Lots of photos and yeah I know where are they, you can thank Telstra NOT for that. Does not like me uploading photos to this blog site but will try again when we get to a major town again.
Back to the van park and get ready for the BBQ after another nice long hot shower. Ahhhh. Washing folded and put away. Onions cut and over to the camp kitchen for the bbq, lots of laugh and good company.
When it was time for the girls to go, Rena cried for half an hour when she realised that the girls were going home.
Took a while to get Rena to sleep tonight. Tomorrow pack up and restock then we are heading off to Lighting Ridge to see my sister Fiona and my nieces new baby :)
