What a disappointment, awoke to find that the heavy smog, so no scenery today. Not at least until this smog clears.
Online to BCF and order a new Coleman Hot Water System as our one after 8 years of faithful service died whilst we were at Flat Rock. All paid for and ready to pick up from their Warrawong shop. Bonus, love online shopping, in stock, and available for pick up today BONUS.
After using the camp kitchen to wash up (breakfast and last night dinner dishes as couldnt stand the midgies any longer last night) packed up the camper and headed to Warrawong to pick up the HWS. Wow havent things changed and grown around here. Last time I was at Shellharbour alot of these houses it was just farms and paddocks.
At BCF and picked up a new camp chair for James, as his broke a while back and he has been making do with it, a new windbreak for the camper and the HWS.
We hit the road south again, and head for Kiama. WOW another town that has exploded in size. We found the laundromat and went and filled the machines, the man was very helpful, and across the road was wollies, so whilst the machines were doing their thing I headed over and got the hop hop shopping done as well as some essentials we needed for Easter.
Back over to the laundromat and fed the dryers with money whilst James headed down to the Post Office to see if our mail had arrived yet.
When he got back went to car got our some ice creams so we enjoyed them whilst waiting for the dryers to do their stuff. Well one dryer worked and the other one didnt, it finished 8 mins early. Put the same money in both, told the guy and it was huh not my problem, so I put the wet washing in a bag and we headed for Berry Showground to try our luck for a campsite.
We arrived at the showgrounds to very friendly hosts, not a problem for an unpowered site, if we wanted to stay over Easter needed to let them know ASAP.
Back and set up camper for overnight, then whilst having a cuppa decided that we would base our camp here and do day trips. So back to office and pay up until Easter Tuesday.
Time to hang out clothes and do the usual boring stuff.
