Well today we slept in until 8.30am no generators to wake us up early and not that many cockatoes either.
We packed up camp with leisure and went for a walk along the river bank before heading back in to Dubbo for the restock.
We headed to Coles and did our restock, visiting the butcher and Target and getting all on our shopping list.
As it was now 2 pm we decided to look for the laundromat to wash the clothes but the one we went to wasnt open on Sundays so headed for the petrol station and decided that we would head for Wellington and wash the clothes there. hopefully a town of that size would have one.
We did the short drive to Wellington then on to the Caves Rest Area to camp for the night, but upon arrival at the rest area decided that it really wasnt a good place to camp for the night, and as we saw the sign for Ponto Falls just north of Wellington decided to head there to check it out and look to camp there for the night.
When we arrived at Ponto Falls we both decided straight away that it was a nice spot to camp for a couple of days, so we set up to stay for a couple of days right next to the Macquarie River again. (We seem to be following this river lately)
When I get to upload the photos you will see why we decided to stay here a couple of days.
Unpack and stow most of the groceries and restack the fridge then get an easy toasted cheese sandwich for dinner was really yummy. Sometimes the easiest meals are the nicest.
Our neighbours (about 300 meters away) walked past and said we were missing our sigh "The Hilton". We like our little camper suits us well and obviously others like it to.
Tonight we didnt go to bed until 9pm seemed to go so quickly today, lots of places to explore with Rena and James.
